FROGGATT EDGE NEWS
'We have been made aware that individuals have been bolting at Froggatt Edge recently, we wish to make everyone aware that Froggatt Edge is private property and is part of CastleRock Adventure. While we are not against bolting and or the development of this fantastic sight which is made available for public use we ask that anyone currently, intending to or wishing to bolt here please contact the CastleRock Adventure Office on 0800 225 462 prior to this being done.
CastleRock Adventure has invested extensively into the bolting at both sites and this process needs to be managed.
Bolting at the CastleRock Adventure Crag is prohibited'

Auckland Section of the NZAC

The Auckland Section of the NZ Alpine Club runs a variety of alpine, climbing & other trips throughout the year and new members are always welcome. We have a club meeting on the second Monday night of each month (may be changed for public holidays), and we also organise special events such as the Banff Film Festival or international speakers throughout the year. We run instruction courses in both snowcraft and rock climbing during the year and there is some hire gear available for members. The Auckland Section looks after the Ruapehu hut in the Tongariro National Park which provides a base for climbing, ski-touring or just getting away from the city.

Please feel free to come along to a club meeting or email one of the committee members for more information.

Contact the Meetings Organiser with questions about meetings, or if you'd like to be a speaker or help out at meetings.
